Have you ever been presented with an opportunity and all signs point to, “Yes! We should do this!”? But, there is something inside you that says, “Hold on, it’s not the right time.”?

Maybe it’s a job opportunity, a relationship, retirement, or going back to school…everything seems like it should be the right thing to do, but something inside you says, “No, this isn’t right.”
Maybe you are thinking about moving and are presented with all sorts of information about why you should sell your house right now…but it just doesn’t feel like the right time. No one can argue with that. I know I sure can’t. I know that feeling. For me, that feeling is the Holy Spirit, guiding me with all of the choices life throws out.
That feeling led me to switch colleges, to not take certain jobs, to know that my husband was the one for me, to stay at certain jobs, to make a drastic career shift (this was more of a “this-makes-no-sense-to-me-right-now-but-I-know-it’s-right-so-I’ll-do-it” sort of thing).
What I am trying to say is if you are faced with a decision and all signs point to “yes, do it” but you just know it’s not the right time, that means something too.
If you are wrestling with a decision put in front of you and aren’t sure what choice to make, I would love to pray over that decision with you.
