When your child says, “Mom, will you do a puzzle with me?”, you do your best to stop and do a puzzle.
But, let’s be honest. Sometimes I can’t stop for puzzle time. Some days I miss dinner time. There are seasons where I am gone all day Saturdays.
However, I don’t always miss puzzle time. I don’t usually miss dinner time. I am not gone every Saturday for the entire year.
As long as work and family balance overall; I am thrilled.
Through the waves of being a wife, a mom, and a homemaker with an unpredictable and amazing career, my kids get to see me doing what God called me to do.
So while I might miss a few things, like all parents do, I also make sure to have time for puzzles.
